RGD Director & Hip Hop Teacher

Rebecca is the owner  and director of Rebecca Gray Dance. Rebecca has 25 years of dance experience in ballet, jazz and hip hop. Rebecca has completed all levels of RAD ballet and NZAMD Jazz and now examines for the APDA Urban Ignition Syllabus. Rebecca set up RGD in 2010 with the goal of creating a positive and uplifting environment for students to excel in dance.


Hip Hop Dance Teacher

Amber has 20 years of teaching experience behind her, preparing kids for both dance examinations, and competitive dance. 

Amber examines for the APDA Dance exams and is the Choreographer for the ‘Urban Ignition’ Hip Hop Dance Syllabus.

Amber thrives on seeing kids grow in their passion for dance, in a positive, fun and energetic environment and prides herself in pulling out the potential of each student.


Jazz Dance Teacher

Caitlin has trained in Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Tap, Irish Dance, Contempary, Hip Hop and Latin Dance. She was successfully accepted to Brent Street Studios in 2015 where she completed her Diploma of Musical Theatre. Caitlin has worked as both a teacher and as a choreographer for the APDA syllabus, with a wealth of experience spanning over 10 years. Caitlin hopes to inspire the same love for dance that she was given from her teachers as a student


Jazz & Contemporary Dance Teacher

Tim has trained in Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Tap, Commercial and Contemporary. Tim completed a Cert IV in Dance at Brent Street in Sydney. He has sat JazzAddict dance exams to Solo Seal and is now an examiner for the APDA syllabus. Tim loves to see his students flourish and strive to be the best that they can be.


Hip Hop Dance & Competitive Teacher

 From 2013-2017 Maddy was a member of Bubblegum, Sorority and Royal Family dance crew. She has attended the World Hip Hop Championships 5 times and have received 3 medals.  Maddy travelled extensively throughout her dance career and has been part of music videos such as Sorry, Children, and What Do you Mean by Justin Bieber, Love (PSY) and Toto (Drax Project). Maddy loves working with competition students and choreographing world class routines.

Jazz & Hip Hop Dance Teacher

Ashley is trained in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop and Contemporary. She has spent the past four years in Australia where she gained her Diploma of Elite Performance and a Certificate IV in Dance teaching and management. Ashley has worked professionally for X-factor, Vodafone Warriors, Melbourne Storm and Sky City Breakers cheer teams, Lee Jeans and TV3. She is passionate about performance and sharing her love of dance.


Hip Hop Dance Teacher

Sigourney has experience in Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and has spent many years performing on stage. Dancing since the age of seven Sigourney’s passion for dance and working with young children has continued to grow. Sigourney’s degree in Early Childhood Education supports her with teaching the youngest dancers at RGD. Sigourney has a passion for fostering children’s individuality through dance.


Hip Hop Dance Teacher

Amaaya has 11 years of dance experience in jazz, hip hop and contemporary. She has also recently received her Urban Ignition Teacher Certificate. She strives to help her students improve their dance skills and instil confidence in them so that they can reach their full potential.
