We're excited to announce that registrations for our Elite Hip Hop Crew Auditions are now open!

If your dancer is interested in being part of an Elite hip hop crew, gaining performance experience, and competing throughout the year, we’d love to see them at auditions.

📅 Audition Date:

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November 2026

 

What to Expect: We’re running a two-day audition experience:

​

Junior Elite Crew Auditions: Age 8-12 yrs

Day 1: 7th November: Two workshops led by top choreographers from across the industry.

Workshop 1: 9.00-11.00am / Workshop 2: 11.15am-1.15pm

Location: RGD STUDIOS

Day 2: 8th November: Formal Auditions, where final team selections will be made. Students attend both auditions

Audition 1: 9.00am-11.00am / Audition 2: 11.15am-1.15pm

Location: RGD STUDIOS

Varsity Elite Crew Auditions: Age 13-17 yrs

Day 1 - 7th November: Two workshops led by top choreographers from across the industry.

Workshop 1: 2.00pm-4.00pm / Workshop 2: 4.15am-6.15pm

Location: Stonefields School Hall / 81 Tihi Street

Day 2 - 8th November: Formal Auditions, where final team selections will be made. Students attend both auditions

Audition 1: 2.00pm-4.00pm / Audition 2: 4.15pm-6.15pm

Location: Stonefields School Hall / 81 Tihi Street

It is compulsory to attend both days and all workshops/auditions to be considered for an elite junior team.

​

This format allows dancers to:

- Train in a range of styles from leading choreographers comfortable

- Be seen in multiple class environments performing a range of styles and sets

- Truly showcase their strengths

- This structure gives everyone the opportunity to put their best foot forward. .

 

Audition Fee:

Early Bird: $155 (if enrolled by Friday 25th Sept)

Regular: $175

Includes: 2x Workshops on Day 1 2x Audition classes on Day 2 All led by top-tier choreographers!

📩 Audition Results:

Within 1–2 weeks post-audition, all dancers will receive an email with their results.

Successful dancers will then be sent a detailed Competition Crew Info Pack outlining the season ahead.

Registrations are now open below and the first step is to sign up by completing the registration form above​.

You will receive an email response within 24 hours (Mon - Fri) from comps@rebeccagraydance.co.nz once the rego form has been submitted.  You will be advised of the audition/workshop fee to pay which will secure your spot in our auditions.
